I’ve had the pleasure of photographing Anna & Nick since August of 2022. We met for the first time for their engagement session and after and hour together I knew that these were my kind of people. They are genuine, laid back, fun people and so in love.

When they reached out to me for their maternity session my response was a very simple “just tell me when and where!” We chose to go to Surfside Beach, not too far from Lake Jackson, Texas where Anna grew up and her family still owns their home.

It was a gorgeous, cool, mostly clear morning. We started the session in the glow of the pink sunrise and as the sun got higher the light was glowy and warm. Anna’s dresses moved with the beach breeze beautifully and showed off baby girl Ellie.

Their last set of outfits were my personal favorite. A relaxed, simple blue jeans & white t-shirt look that worked perfectly to end out the session playing in the ocean water.

Baby Ellie arrived earth side in May 2024. Congrats Anna & Nick!
