Katie and Conner’s October wedding at The Barn at Bonner Creek was one of those days where everything seemed to fall perfectly into place—from the crisp fall weather to the golden light that stuck around just long enough for portraits. Every part of the day felt relaxed, intentional, and completely centered around celebrating with the people they love most.
One of my favorite parts of the venue is the outdoor ceremony space, and Katie and Conner made full use of it. They exchanged vows beneath the most incredible tree, surrounded by family and friends as the afternoon sun filtered through the leaves. It’s one of those ceremony locations that doesn’t need much to feel beautiful—the natural backdrop does all the work.

One of my favorite moments came just after the ceremony. Katie and Conner took a few quiet minutes together before joining cocktail hour, soaking in the fact that they were finally married. Those unscripted moments are always the ones I find myself coming back to when telling the story of a wedding day.
As the sun dipped behind the trees, we wandered the property for golden hour portraits. The soft October light paired perfectly with the peaceful countryside surrounding The Barn at Bonner Creek, creating some of my favorite images from the entire day. Nothing felt overly posed—just the two of them laughing, talking, and enjoying a few minutes together before heading back to celebrate.
The reception inside the barn was the perfect ending to an already incredible day. Heartfelt toasts, a packed dance floor, and plenty of joyful moments made for a celebration that felt exactly like Katie and Conner: genuine, welcoming, and so much fun.
