Some wedding days just feel like one big celebration from start to finish, and Chelsea and Josh’s October wedding at Forever 5 Events was exactly that. Surrounded by their favorite people, the day was full of laughter, hugs, happy tears, and the kind of moments that remind you what weddings are really about.
With planning by Set in Stone Events, everything flowed effortlessly, giving Chelsea and Josh the freedom to spend more time with each other and the people they love. Their design featured fresh greenery, pampas grass, and shades of pink that added a soft, modern touch without taking away from the fun atmosphere that filled the entire day.

A Beautiful Fall Wedding at Forever 5 Events
Fall is one of the best times of year for a Forever 5 Events wedding. The October weather paired perfectly with the venue’s outdoor spaces, making it easy to enjoy every part of the property—from getting ready with friends to an outdoor ceremony and portraits beneath the trees.
Forever 5 offers so many beautiful locations for photos while still feeling welcoming and relaxed, making it one of my favorite venues to photograph as a Houston wedding photographer.

A Morning Filled With Meaningful First Looks
Chelsea chose to share several first looks before the ceremony, and each one brought something different to the day.
She surprised her bridesmaids, shared an emotional moment with her dad, and then met Josh beneath the trees for their first look. Before anyone else joined them, they exchanged private vows, giving themselves a few quiet minutes together before the celebration officially began.
It was one of those moments where everything slowed down for just a little while before the excitement of the ceremony and reception took over.

Why Their Timeline Worked So Well
One of the best decisions Chelsea and Josh made was doing a first look before the ceremony.
Because we were able to photograph nearly all of their portraits beforehand—including couple’s portraits, wedding party photos, and family photos—they didn’t disappear for an hour after saying “I do.”
Instead, they headed straight to cocktail hour and spent that time celebrating with their guests.
As a Houston wedding photographer, this is one of my favorite timeline choices because it allows couples to actually experience the wedding day they’ve spent months planning. Rather than missing conversations, hugs, and laughter during cocktail hour, Chelsea and Josh were right in the middle of it all.

A Day That Felt Like One Big Celebration
While every detail was beautiful, what stood out most wasn’t the décor—it was the people.
Every part of the day was filled with family and friends who were genuinely excited to celebrate Chelsea and Josh. Whether it was the energy during the morning, the emotional first looks, or everyone gathering together after the ceremony, the day felt joyful from beginning to end.
Those are the weddings I love documenting most—the ones where the photos aren’t just about how everything looked, but about how it felt to be there.
