Being a Texas wedding photographer, you can usually find me capturing memories for my clients in Texas. But sometimes, I get the chance to pack my camera and hit the road for a destination shoot, like this Colorado engagement session in Lake Dillon. Let me tell you, it couldn’t have gone any better, and I can’t wait to show you the pictures!

Kallie and Logan live in Denver, Colorado. They discovered me on Instagram while planning their Houston-area wedding at a family property. We had a killer first phone call, and it felt like we had known each other forever. I just LOVE when that happens with clients. It’s the best!

Fast forward a couple of months, and they decided to switch up their wedding plans. They found a spot in Littleton, not too far from their home and started planning their wedding there instead. I was, of course, THRILLED when they told me that they still wanted me to photograph their wedding. I get so excited to hang out with awesome people in incredible locations!

The stars aligned this past May. I was already in Colorado for another wedding, and the timing couldn’t have been better. We squeezed in their engagement session that same week. Let me tell you, these two are absolute naturals in front of the camera, and they are SO cute together. We were in a GORGEOUS location, having a great time together. Oh, and Kallie’s leather fringe jacket with her new last name on it? Total win.

I can’t wait to see them again for their April 2024 wedding. I am so glad that even though their Texas wedding didn’t work out, we were able to meet up for their Colorado engagement session. Their spring wedding is going to be so much fun, and I am so excited to head back to Colorado to capture the memories of their big day!
