Firstly, et me start by saying that Victoria and Nick’s Galveston sunrise engagement session was hands-down one of my all-time favorites. In fact, it’s right up there as a highlight of the summer. There’s just something about the blend of a sunrise and the beach that makes my photographer’s heart skip a beat. When you combine the two, it’s pure magic!
We picked a spot on the west end of Galveston, not too far from Galveston State Park. The morning gifted us with a touch of haze and a dash of muggy weather. We joked that the haze and mugginess were paid actors. They totally set the vibe for the first half of our shoot. Together with the mist of the beach, the soft, earthy tones that these weather conditions brought out in the photos were nothing short of enchanting. Then, the sun made its grand entrance through the clouds and it was breathtaking.
Victoria and Nick’s choice of outfits was spot on. They radiated beachy vibes that blended seamlessly with the soft tones of the surroundings. Victoria rocked a beautiful white linen dress. Nick kept it casual yet stylish with a light blue linen button-down shirt and khaki shorts. Their outfits complemented each other and the natural backdrop exquisitely.
As we captured these beautiful moments during their engagement session, it was clear that the love between Victoria and Nick is something truly special. Their connection undoubtedly shone through every photograph, making my job as a photographer an absolute joy.
These two lovebirds are set to tie the knot in February 2024 at Magnolia Meadows. If their engagement session is anything to go by, their wedding day is bound to be filled with warmth, love, and a whole lot of magic.
In the end, this Galveston sunrise engagement session was a morning filled with the beauty of nature, the love of two amazing people, and the promise of a bright future together. I couldn’t be happier to have been a part of it. I am so honored to capture the beginning of their journey towards a lifetime of love and happiness.
